SUNNYVALE, Calif.--Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS), the innovative technology solutions company that brings invention to market, today announced it is an affiliate of the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) at the University of California, Davis (cltc.ucdavis.edu).

The CLTCs mission is to advance the development and commercialization of energy-efficient lighting and daylighting technologies through research and development, instruction, and partnerships with utilities, manufacturers, end users, builders, designers, researchers, academia, and government agencies.

Rambus’ product portfolio includes A19, PAR30, and BR30 LED lamps, all of which utilize MicroLens® optical technology. These solutions provide excellent energy efficiency and broad dimmer compatibility, are designed to manage heat in a highly effective manner, and address the needs of end users, lighting designers, and specifiers across a wide range of applications.
