With the increasing popularization of LED products in the end market, the battle against the infringement of intellectual property right has been intensified in LED industry.

“There are so many plants and stores in lighting industry clusters with a variety of styles, making the infringement very convenient,” said Ma Junwei, head of Qikai Optoelectronics, “Since it is so convenient to steal ideas from others, you may look foolish if you don’t.”

“The new-comers are short of money and talent to develop new products, what they do is stealing from others in various ways,”  he added, “Well-off companies take advantage of overseas exhibitions to copy advanced designs in developed countries, while less fortunate ones just copy their local counterparts.”
